I earned a BA in Philosophy at Kent State University in 2000. Since then I have studied graduate level Mathematics and I taught undergraduate mathematics classes at Kent State University during the course of my graduate studies. At KSU I have taught Fundamental Math 6 which is high school level pre-algebra math and Algebra for Calculus which is freshmen level Elementary Algebra. A Little Bit About Me...

At MSU, I first worked as a Supplemental Instructor and then became a Graduate Assistant (before I even earned my Bachelor's degree) in the School of Business. I also worked in the math department as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. I have taught business, accounting and math classes at the college level when instructor was absent. Accounting is by far my strong suit, followed by Excel, Economics and Math, however I do not use high-level math often, although I got A's in everything throughout college.
I enjoy teaching at a high school level or above. I am very hands on. I am a bit of a story teller - rearranging the circumstances of the problem into an issue more easily related to by the student. I am very patient and relaxed - there are very few people who have a lower stress level than I do.
