Many people have different teaching skills and techniques. I do not believe any technique to educate a child is better than any other technique. Each child learns differently. Understanding the fact that children learn differently is crucial. The teacher must be able to adapt to the child's learning style. I find that the most important aspect of teaching is to consider the student's perspective. It wasn't that long ago that I was a student myself, and I found the most effective teachers were the ones who were able to explain concepts in a variety of ways. Along with this I find it import for a teacher to fully understand a question being asked by a student. My teaching experience came from tutoring at Alkebulan Village for the last two years. I tutored high school students at different levels of math such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra (I & II), Geometry, Precalculus. I also prepared the student for the ACT exam. While I was in college, I also tutored many students in calculus (I, II & III), Differential Equations, Linear Equations, C++, and Microsoft office words, and excel.
I love teaching and it is my favorite thing to do. I been told by every student I help or tutored that I am one of the best teacher they ever had. My style is to challenge and bring the best of every student. I make my lesson an open discussion between me and the students and I found that to be the best and fastest way from them to learn.
