A Little Bit About Me...

I have experience tutoring former classmates and some clients. I find that because of class sizes and lack of time, some students are not getting the proper instruction needed to succeed. The way public schools are set up they focus on excelency on state tests, and don't build up on needed stepping stones for the next years levels. I have succesfully tutored in Pre-Cal, Calculous, Algebra, Marine Biology, FAA Private Pilot written exam, Spanish, English, etc.

I have been a student and an educator all my life. I have successfully taught for about 5 years in the U.S.A. and also overseas. I have a very strong background in Science and teaching any subject in many areas of science is my delight. I am also certified and qualified to teach Spanish at any level, not only because Spanish is my native language, but because I have studied at a higher level in both languages, English and Spanish. A Little Bit About Me...

I have experience both tutoring degree level students in Geophysics and in mentoring junior programmers in programming C and C++. My science knowledge is second to none, and I am an extremely enthusiastic teacher. At school my strong math lead me to win the physics prize, and I continued with my interest in quantitative science through to my doctorate. Recently I have been developing my own software application, which uses both vector and matrix math in its design.
My teaching style has been to enthuse my students. I find the physical and mathematical models of the world to be fascinating, and try and show how exciting these models are to my listeners. Passing on that knowledge is incredibly rewarding, and I believe that I can present any scientific principal in an interesting way.
