A Little Bit About Me...

I've been informally teaching for around 7 years, starting with private percussion lessons and high school drumline instruction and most recently tutoring through the Migrant Education Program in the subject areas of English as a Second Language, math, science, and Spanish. I am a current Geography Teacher Education student at Illinois State University minoring in Spanish. I will receive my license after completing my student teaching requirement in the spring of 2015.
I propone an exploratory, learn-by-doing philosophy regarding education; I believe that students are best served producing their own inquiries (guided by an educator), and then seeking resolution through gathering information. Nevertheless, all students learn differently and I pride my ability to adapt to certain situations and provide the healthiest learning environment for my students that I can.

A Little Bit About Me...

In college, I was a peer tutor in Math, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. I have sub-taught for CUSD 5, and CUSD 87, for 3 years. I have a Illinois Type 09 Certification, which is currently valid in McLean County. I have good grammar skills, and very good mathematical skills.
