My main goal is for the student to achieve understanding to ensure long term learning and positive changes. My teaching style is to put the student's preferred learning style(s) together with the learning goal to create a good attitude toward learning. I use hands-on methods to engage the student actively in the learning process. I am patient and able to identify areas of difficulty for improvement. I strive to make learning desirable for the student.
I am a licensed Special Educator. I have been teaching students ages 3 to 21 in the public school system for 14 years. I am both an Early Childhood Specialist in General Education and a Special Educator for all grades. I am able to identify and remediate learning problems. I have a wealth of interventions and adaptations to assist in creating and executing a personalized learning program for your student.
