A Little Bit About Me...

I taught many students Maths in a school. It was a wonderful experience. I also worked as the IT coordinator in a summer program. I helped students with their common IT problems and troubleshooting. I learnt quite a lot and i would love to try something similar. I like teaching students and helping them understand the main idea behind Maths. When students begin to understand what i teach, they begin to enjoy my teaching style.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching approach varies depending on the student. With youth, I am both patient and focused. I am also considerate and easy going. As the student gets older, I let them dictate what they would like to learn and the intensity they would like to learn it at. I respect students of all ages and I am always attentive to their needs.
My experience tutoring Math and Science is extensive. I started formally tutoring Chemistry in 1996 as a chemistry tutor. Throughout my Bachelor's and Master's degrees I tutored students independently. This helped me develop a wider range of approaches with which to help different students learn. I am well versed in many different mathematical disciplines. I am familiar with everything from arithmetic to graduate level mathematics and statistics. I am also familiar with many areas in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at the freshman level.

I was also a peer advisor creating and presenting academic programs to first year students helping them choose a major and plan their four-year schedule. Science is a topic that I have always been interested in. I earned a bachelor degree in chemistry, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. I went back and obtained my education license to teach science, where my real passion lies. I have taught many high school sciences for the past couple of years.

My undergraduate education was started and completed at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. My first professional position was with Coca-Cola in Atlanta.
