I enjoy teaching children at all levels. I find that children learn at different speeds and by different means. A Little Bit About Me...

I returned to school in 2007 to pursue a career in education. In several corporate positions, I was responsible for training new employees in various store operations. I have volunteered as a teacher in my church and taught Sunday School at the middle school level. During my courses and student teaching, I utilized many hands-on and inquiry-based tools to help students learn new concepts. Because I am certified in Elementary Education, I have a solid background in many academic disciplines.
I believe in a constructivist approach to education. Stusents come with prior knowledge of topics. My goal is to get those students to connect prior knowledge with new information.
