A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with students of varied ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds. I lean more towards the Progressive style of teaching in that I teach my students the skills and strategies that will help them become successful in society. I am also aware that my students learn differently, so I differentiate my instructions towards their individual needs.
I have teaching experience on all grade levels in urban school districts. I am currently a special education teacher in the Saint Louis Public School District, and I have enjoyed the challenge of working with educationally handicapped students and seeing many of them being mainstreamed into the general education population. A Little Bit About Me...

As you can see, I have had very little tutoring experience, but my desire and passion has always been to share my knowledge and skills with those who need assistance in the area of accounting. I have done much volunteer work in my field of accounting and business administration via not much with tutoring. My current occupation is working as a paralegal. However, I am looking for opportunities to transition into the field of education. My passion and natural abilities are best suited for nurturing and teaching children. I volunteer as a teen mentor with the Hervey Foundation.
