I am earning my BS in Business Administration and have gained an understanding in many areas of computer technology, arithmetic, English, and science. I have recently graduated from Iowa State University with a BS degree in Animal Science. Throughout my education I was a teachers assistant in two different classes. Along with attending college, I worked at Lutheran Services in Iowa where I provided the daily care for severely mentally handicapped young men. I have an ability to take information and teach it in several different ways I enjoy teaching several subjects to all different age levels. I enjoy taking a difficult subject and finding the way in which it relates to the student. While in college I was a youth soccer referee in which the referee has to explain to the rules and apply them to kids ages 5-11. I love helping children see the beauty in the world we live. That can be through solving a math problem that they struggled with or helping them learn from their mistakes. My goal is to help your child reach their full potential. I believe with the correct learning environment and focused attention a child will be able to overcome all obstacles. During my study towards at BS in Chemistry I published a paper with a professor doing electrochemical research. I currently work at a small manufacturing company where I purchase raw materials, formulate products, supervise the manufacturing process and check the quality of the end product. Through my studies and work I have learned to apply analytical thinking to real world problems for results. I think I can provide exceptional one on one tutoring for a student of any age. My knowledge has been spread out throughout my college years and this would be a great first step into teaching.
