My comments on tutoring Writing Skills : As a doctoral candidate, I do a lot of writing. This makes me very aware of grammar usage, voice, flow, cohesion, and other aspects critical to strong writing. I use a variety of techniques to teach students how to structure and edit their own writing.

My career as a teacher has taught me the importance of extending learning beyond the classroom. I was on honor roll in high school on a consistent basis. My best subjects were English and Writing. I attended Pennsylvania State University for Communications with a focus on English Writing and the study of Film and Media Arts. I have a thorough understanding of the English language and a strong knack for comprehension.
