A Little Bit About Me...

I am a current high school student. I am completely and have completed Honors and AP courses in Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and Language. I have previously tutored students in my grade level, lower grade levels, higher grade levels, and even college students. I have maintained A's in a majority of my classes, except Geometry in which i recieved a B. I am very understanding and flexible in the concepts of these subjects.
I would like to get to know the person(s) that I am tutoring before we begin work. I want them to be comfortable around me and to be able to ask me any qestion with no hestations. I like to balance out their strengths and weaknesses so the learner won't get discouraged when facing something new.

I am expert in the simple,but effective explanation of Latin grammar and the creation of learning experiences that create learning. I have also used computer tech to supplement more traditional teaching method. I can save a willing student hours of frustration by properly orienting them and showing the steps that learning and applying Latin will require.
I have been teaching Latin actively without interruption since 1978. I have been teaching in public high school for 19 years and have continued to tutor throughout this time. I have continued to produce students who consistently score 700+ on SAT II in Latin.My students are now studying Latin at all the major colleges in this state.
