I am a strong believer that children all learn differently. I consider myself a visual learner, but try to teach to cater all different learning styles. I believe children learn best when able to relate to the material in some way. I taught summer school for one summer in the Title I program at Chestnut St. School in West Hempstead. I taught adult education (real estate course) in West Hempstead. I was a substitute teacher in the West Hempstead school district for 5 years.
I use word games, flash cards and drill. I love working with the little ones as they are enthusiastic and show the most progress. Some youngsters need more visual stimulation. Games are a great motivator, as the children are learning without feeling that they are doing school work.

Education in my life has been my number one motivating factor for success.
