Every person has a unique background and set of experiences that he or she brings to the learning experience. It is difficult, at best, for the student to correctly assess how his or her experiences affect the learning process. I have loved teaching and still keep in touch with many of my former students. In fact, I have taught many of their children! I seem to end up helping students with more than just their homework.
