BS Economics UNR (2015) - Graduated with honors, on the dean's list (3.80 + GPA) Accounting Tutor - UNR Tutoring Center - Worked for three years from my Sophomore year through my Senior year as a tutor in the Thompson Building at UNR. Primarily tutored ACC 201 and ACC 202 but also did quite a bit of classes in the Economic Spectrum, Econometrics, Statistics and introductory level mathematics.
Honestly, not sure how to answer this. I think the entire benefit of working with a private tutor is that the tutor is able to change and adapt to complement the student. I wouldn't think to walk into a room and presume to know where the student is struggling or how best to help him. I spent 3 years subsituting in the Sacramento USD system while I went to school for my credentials. I then taught in a pull-out RSP program in 4th and 5th grade ,1/2 time and a high school push-out RSP program the rest of the day. I have also taught 3rd grade.
