My comments on tutoring Elementary Science : I can problem solve and work with the student, many different ways, until we come up with a strategy that "clicks" with them.

I have tutored fellow classmates in HS. I've taught my nieces and nephew to understand and love mathematics, as well as respect science, which is really just the real-world application of mathematics. I can explain many abstract topics in tangible ways. I love when I see that twinkle in someone's eye when something clicks and they grab onto the topic they once didn't comprehend.

As an educator, I strive to improve the student's study habits, test taking skills and overall understanding of the subject. I am patient and encourage questions from the student. Also, I believe that "hands on" practice is the best way to really learn a subject.
