Journalism is one of my top subjects! I worked as a Business reporter for 5 months and received a reward for one of my pieces.

I have taken creative writing and journalism courses. I have experience in the journalism field, and won an award for one of my stories. I have also done much writing on my own, including writing a full-length novel (in the works of being edited with hopes of publication). I am an avid reader and my reading comprehension/writing scores on tests have always been well above average.
I work hands-on, using examples. However, I am readily able to adjust to new learning styles!

I was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Tau Delta (the English Honor Society) while graduating Magna Cum Laude from Luther College. At Teachers College, Columbia University, I was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, the Educational Honor Society.
