I have been fluent in French for over 15 years, I have spoke French since the age of four and I am willing to teach you this foreign language! I tutored students all over San Diego in beginning French. I even taught beginning French in a one month program at Point Loma High Tech Middle School. The class size was 20, so I am fine with tutoring more than one person at a time. I did private tutoring for French 1 and French 2 at Grossmont College for 2 years. Is it a requirement and not in your field of study so you just want to pass the class or is this a part of your passion or career and really want to know the nuts and bolts of the subject. I will adjust accordingly and make out a plan. I will also figure out the best way to teach you the material and from there we will have a plan to accomplish the targeted goal. I have a lot of experience not only in fields that you may need help learning, but I also spent time during college tutoring classmates as I was in the class and developed a style to help students learn quickly and also reinforce the concepts. I understand the student to determine the best learning style for you and I make the transformation teaching you the material in an effective manner.

All students can learn, but in different ways. I, for one, learn best by watching how something is done. I can read about it, or hear a lecture about it, but seeing it helps me understand the subject. This type of teaching would be done with movies, drawing or acting out the situation. In my teaching, I try to use all methods available to me to help the students learn and to use their creativity. I especially try to get students to work in groups and to share their work with each other. I find that pier groups provide the best help in understanding the subject matter.
