During my years attending UMass Dartmouth, I recieved my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration. But I also gained alot of experience working with children. I tutored elementary age students in the star program and college students at my campus job in the Unity House. I also was the coordinator for the New Bedford Speech Academy. This program taught students fron 4-6th grade public speaking skills. I have applied the skills I learned to my current job as a home tutor. I love working with children of all ages. Children can learn very fast by talking, playing games and if properly taught they can remember in the long term. I am here to help children of all ages from english to math. I am very easy going, become a little kid with a child and am always smiley. I have a goods ways of explaining basic math, algebra, basic accounting and any business courses for older students and i can work around their way of thinking. I strive to make a difference in the people, as my position as a resident assistant allowed me to and as a law student wanted to make a difference. Because law didn't allow me to do so, teaching and working with kids helps me make a big difference.
