I started out as a Computer Instructor and enjoyed teaching computer classes but something was missing. I saw that my children was not getting the education in the school system that I desired for them. I had wonderful teachers in school and Math was my favorite subject. I am now a degreed, homeschool mom of a 12th grader and a 9th grader - this is our 4th year. I have been a practicing Math Tutor for the past 15 years and tutor in Basic Math through Algebra 2. I love the subject of Algebra. I have been tutoring private students in Algebra 2 for 5 years now. A Little Bit About Me...

I have an undergraduate degree in physics (B.S.) and graduate degree in electrical engineering (M.S.). I have tutored in physics, chemistry and math before while in school. I have been able to start outreach programs with peers to help kids in under-served areas of Washington DC teaching physics through use of music. I have also participated in Johns Hopkins CTY summer youth program tutoring top percentage of high school students around the country and Central America in biomedical sciences.
