I prefer visual and hands on learning, it seems to grasp the learner better and you can do many fun activities with those types of learning styles.
I graduated with all A's and B's in high school. My favorite subjects are reading and writing, which I prefer to teach. Strong in history and elementary and middle school math. Graduated from Staunton School of Cosmetology, Staunton, Va. 1980. Have had my own cosmetology business from then to the present. Southside Community College, massage therapy, included anatomy and physiology, 2013. Studied business and teaching, at VCU, 1971-72, did not complete degree program.
Relaxed, personal, but concentrate on learning, making progress at student's pace and level of achievement. I will try to make learning fun and interesting.

In my experience as a teacher in the church,I have worked with a variety of students from young to old, from very intelligent to the mentally challenged. Thus I have learned to be flexible.
