My first career was as a Registered Professional Nurse (NYS licensure) for 25 years. During those years, I kept up my interest in various fields of math, such as Abstract Algebra, Differential equations, and topology. I was especially interested in algebraically-capable computer math programs. I,eventually, went back to school for my Mathematics degree as part of a long-standing interest in and commitment to Mathematics. I presently teach students who are "at risk" in the 7th through 12th grades and have done so for the last 10-11 years at OHM-BOCES. A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned my bachelors degree in Biotechnology. I will be finishing my masters in education May 16, 2010. I am pending a teaching certification in Chemistry and Biology which should be granted September 1, 2010. I have worked with all different age groups. Recently I worked in an environmental laboratory where I performed what is taught in the biology and chemistry classroom on a daily basis.
