During the session I encourage the student's learning by asking open-ended questions to encourage critical thinking. With writing assignments, the pen is always in the student's hand and, with guidance, the student makes choices about his or her writing. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style may vary depending on the student. I would have to get a feel of what the child like and dislike about the subject he or she is struggling in. I would also want to obtain a list of goals or expectations from the student's parents in order to implement a plan that will aid both the student and I to accomplish the targeted goal.
