The methods of teaching I was instructed when I obtained my Bachelor in Education at the University of Akron Ohio, from 1989-1991, was the following Integrated, Whole language approach and Montessori. The method we were instructed to use in the Akron city school system was Integrated which uses basic and whole language approach language Arts. These integrated units allow us the opportunity to make sure children are learning relevant information and applying that knowledge to real life scenarios. Language Arts is what I use in all my teachings and lesson plans.

My undergraduate years at Princeton University instilled in me a passion for learning and a personal commitment to academic excellence. Most of my adult work life has been focused on coaching individuals to overcome handicaps and maximize their potential as successful, competent learners.
