I am certified to teach both math and reading in Florida. I am particularly strong in helping students to understand the basics. I became a teacher because I feel that I can make a positive difference in my students' lives while providing them quality instruction from a teacher who truly cares. My last teaching assignments were in preparing high risk students to pass the FCAT and the GED. My students exhibited a ninety-seven percent pass rate on both tests upon passing my class. Students should be taught as individuals based on their particular learning styles. People learn at their own rate.
