I have a diverse educational background, which includes studies in the area of social work, psychology, sociology, and education. I graduated in 2003 from the University of Arkansas with a B.A. in Social Work with minors in both psychology and sociology. In December of 2009, I graduated from University of Central Arkansas with a Master of Arts in Teaching. I will begin my Educational Specialist degree in school counseling this spring. I worked as a tutor coordinator for the YMCA tutoring children from the ages of 12-16. I helped them in basic studies to ensure that they had a grade of a C or better. My goal is to open up an after school program so that I can help students who may need tutoring after school get the grades that they need to pass on to the next level. Working with children is one of my passions and I hope that one day I can help them more, especially to succeed in school.
I love working with children. I have 3 of my own and I am currently studying for a Master of Science in Higher Education so that I can teach.
