I excel at teaching intensive phonics and addition/subtraction/multiplication/division facts. Besides giving my students a strong foundation to build on, I also love to energize their internal motivation to succeed.
My love of kids lead me to get a Masters in Elementary Education. I taught third grade for three years and fourth grade one year in private Christian schools. I enjoyed being able to carry on the great Christian heritage of our country and our faith as Christians to the next generation. I tutored several students who were learning English as a second language. In the 2014/2015 school year I worked at a Montessori School. I have experience with teaching adults how to read at my local literacy organization. Also, I have tutored children with Reading and Math. I was a substitute teacher for students from Pre Kindergarten through High School with different subjects and disciplines. I can freely tutor others because of the experiences that I have had while earning my degrees. Helping others learn is a passion of mine.
