A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching more than 45 years. I teach tap, jazz, ballet, tumbling, and ballroom. I enjoy students from toddlers (as long as potty trained) through adults. No one is too old to learn to dance or improve skills in dance. I perform. I choreograph. I have former students currently appearing on Broadway.

I have always had a knack for the sciences and left the Midwest to follow my love of Marine Biology. While in school, I revisted my interest in the arts (painting, piano, and animation). It was then I realized I was passionate about so many topics and didn't want to limit myself to one thing! I've worked with kids throughout my entire life, whether I was teaching swim lessons, piano lessons, or tutoring. I took Spanish for 4 years in High School use it every chance I get. Tutored inner-city and disadvantaged students in elementary English and math for 1 year. TA’ed undergraduate finance class, options pricing, for 1 year. Co-lead two Bible studies groups for one year; one of which was composed of students from a primarily Caucasian student fellowship as well as students from an all-Asian fellowship.
During my junior and senior year in college, I TA’ed a finance class called options pricing for two semesters. Options pricing was a difficult subject. I worked very hard to receive an A- for the course, which turned out to be my favor. I had insight to the intellectual hurdles other students had to overcome to master the material.
