I spent the next 20+ years as a stay-at-home mom and homeschooler, teaching my three children from kindergarten until they graduated from high school.(My two oldest are now college graduates and the third is presently in college.) While at A&T, I earned a degree in African American studies, in which I learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing graduate level research papers. A Little Bit About Me...

My preferred style of teaching is student-lead. I believe in the Socratic method, but appreciate following a curriculum, as well. I volunteer at a Montessori school and I know that getting learners of all ages interested and excited about a topic is the key to retention.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have had wonderful experiences teaching students of all ages and I think one of the best ways to reach students is to teach them individually.
