My first teaching experience was in high school teaching at after school programs about basic economic principles that may apply to kids. A Little Bit About Me...

My last class was a self-contained 6th grade, with a 34% ELL and 14% special education population. My class average reading level rose from 4.6 to 7.1. Of all the students in the school who surpassed the required State testing and higher District goals in both reading and math, 75% came from my class, as did the winners of the school's essay contest, spelling bee and geography competition. My first career was in medicine where I gave direct care, taught military/civilian classes and participated extensively in research, gaining a deep understanding of science biology and chemistry and human A&P.

Classroom training subjects have included using software programs, developing online documentation, writing skills, communications training, policies and so on.
