I love teaching and working with people of all ages. There are so many different ways to learn and it is vital for an instructor to recognize and identify what works best for each individual. I am excellent at breaking things down and making them easy to remember. Relating the subject material to something the learner can understand is key. I am very patient and will take the time to learn how to help each student in the most productive way I can.
Completing a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics in less than four years took dedication and excellent study skills. So far, I have only tutored people in Calculus, and Physics, but I am comfortable with Differential Equations, Discrete Math, freshman Chemistry and Biology, and pretty much anything Computer Science related at the undergraduate level.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have had an extensive career in business. I have had a number of accounting/finance positions in the business world. My most successful position was with a chain of 30 Hallmark stores. I started as the accountant and eventually became the President of the company. I have had other positions as Controller and Accountants of other businesses.
I would be able to instruct children with the basics and also explain how these basic concepts are used and why they are important in a real environment. My goal would be to get my students excited about their future and impress upon them that they can achieve anything they desire with hard work.
