I have taught Math and ESL for the last ten years. I work best with struggling students to overcome their mathphobia. Foreign students who are struggling with English has great company in me since I am a foreigner myself but earned a Master in ESL in the US. Most important topics and topics not well understood get time and individualized priority. Offer a challenge test at the end. Harder than the test students will face but no so hard as to lower self steem.
