Patient English and Drama Teacher

My teaching style is being patient and kind and letting students get actively involved in the lessons.
I am a Certified Teacher in the State of Washington and currently work as a Substitute Teacher for the Fife Public Schools. I have been a Substitute Teacher for local school districts and chose to work part time since I was caring for my elderly father who passed away in 2012. I enjoy teaching Elementary Education, Preschool, Drama, and English. I taught Drama for The City of Lakewood back in 2008 to 2010. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style involves being open and relatable while keeping he conversation related to learning and the subjects of importance. I feel like students respond best when they are in a positive work environment and are pushed to be their best. This involves teaching through the Socratic method, of forcing individuals to answer their own questions. I believe that tutors and teachers should be providing students with the tools and skills they need to be productive students instead of giving away answers.
