If you are not willing to learn the material, I cannot help you. I will ask questions about your personal learning preferences before we begin(auditory, visual, hands-on, etc.). Lesson-planning will be made according to how you want to learn whether or not it is reinforcement or new material.
I have had a lot of past experience when it comes to tutoring. I have tutored many people of various ages from children all the way to college students, relatively. Depending on an individual's learning style I can adjust accordingly. I have experience in all the fields I have mentioned, and I also have experience in lesson-planning the aforementioned subjects.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a parent concerned about the condition of the public school system we decided to homeschool our last two children. I began teaching them in the first grade and have continued up to, and including, the present time. My son is now a high school freshman and my daughter is in the eighth grade. During this time I helped start a homeschool cooperative. We wanted to continue homeschooling our children, but we also wanted to provide them with more choices taught by someone experienced, or having an expertise in an area. For a period of five years, I offered tutoring services to students at the University of Chapel Hill, Duke University, and North Carolina State University. My ability comes from experience...I was not entirely prepared for college when I started, and had to work much harder to successfully complete my degrees.
