Texas Certified Teacher: Early Childhood thru 5th Grade

The relationship that I and your child will have will be based on mutual respect, and I will ensure that your child's academic specific needs will be my focus. Each child has a different way to learn. As a trained and certified teacher I find ways that my students can grasp the concepts and learn. I believe that concepts should be learned first on a concrete level, using hands on strategies. Once they "get it", we can move on to more abstract ways to understand.

A Little Bit About Me...

In high school I graduated 3rd in my class. Tutored last summer at big buddy for volunteer and did a little this summer so I'm still getting the hang of it, but my passion is helping students to excel in their reading skills. I remember what it used to be like for me as a student in high school and other facilities. I also volunteered at LSU for 3 weeks at Gear Up.
