I want to help and make a difference in each student that I tutor. I like to reach out to all of my students. I learn each of my students name and have them see that I want them to well. I also feel that students should be given assignments to work on during class and not lectured the entire time. I have always had a passion for teaching and helping to educate people. I have earned a BS in Business Administration and a MS in Accounting. Through my education and experience I have an extensive set of business and grammar skills. I have completed four years of Latin and enjoyed it. During high school I took AP History and Government and past the AP Exam. I enjoy studying for Test Prep and enjoy helping students achieve their goals. I have tutored students for many years and enjoy working with students.

As a recent MBA graduate, I would like to apply some of the things learned during my studies into helping others in their area of weakness. I understand that some students struggle in certain areas and I feel that I could be a great mentor. I tutored students in the past with the Big Brother Big Sister program. My area of expertise of editing and proofing essays and research papers. I'm also very proficient in Math. I am not a teacher however, I do have 3 children ages 10, 11 and 12. They are very smart and all have been on the Principals list for the past 3 years. I'm patient, kind and understanding that children often times get frustrated. I take education very seriously and I want everyone to succeed. My goal is to give back to the community and this is my way by educating our future leaders of America.

As a Sociology major and an accounting student at Longwood University, I was able to gain an understanding in a variety of areas from classes in business, sociology, anthropology, psychology, english, math and the sciences. I have excelled in writing financial as well as literary reports. I tutored many of my classmates while I was in college and was afforded the opportunity to substitute teach sociology when my professors were out due to illness or personal reasons. In my career I have trained many of my employees and have created new departments by implementing policies and procedures. I have the unusual ability to teach in a way that each individual can relate to and on a level that they can each understand.
