A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is a very important part of learning; it is an ongoing process that is active and not static. My style of teaching is less conventional than most at a large university due to my liberal arts undergraduate education. I think that many students learn different ways and it is important to let the learner control the learning process. As an instructor you provide guidance and an outline for success, but that outline should be adapted to the individual. I have taught music privately, for music stores, and taught and assisted with music in public and parochial schools. My teaching Internship was at Robbinsdale High School in art and commercial design. I served as Teaching Assistant to the Dean of Students while earning my Master's - emphasis was creative and professional writing skills.
