I have a talent for teaching and love to help students learn material in a way other than how it is traditionally taught. I believe everyone has a different learning style and it is important to teach in ways that a variety of students understand. My teaching style is hands on and provides visual and verbal information. I like to provide numerous examples and practice problems. As a tutor, I know I will be responsible for teaching, tutoring, and offering assistance on various math assignments and test preparations to students. My first tutoring experience was in high school, assisting other students in Algebra. I have earned two bachelor degrees, a BS in Business Administration and a BS in Computer Science. After college I worked at an insurance company as an IT Training Advisor. My primary responsibility was to train new software developers on the technologies and best practices used at our company. I also worked at a Medical Device company as a Business Analyst. This position included developing training materials, and delivering training to end users of the software my group developed.
