It definitely is important to combine styles. I use direct instruction, as well as guided instruction, and groupwork. I am a graduate from the Marshall University School of Education. I earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education which has enabled me to learn a lot about Elementary curriculum as well as the skills and strategies used to teach elementary children. Throughout my education experience at Marshall I participated in many different practicum classes where I taught and tutored children in a variety of subjects. I have a BS in business and can tutor in any business related fields. In addition, my original college major was physics. A Little Bit About Me...

I am an upcoming May 2006 graduate from Allegheny College, majoring in English. Given my background at a small, liberal arts college and being a former biochemistry major, I have a great understanding of language arts, math and science.
