I have tutored in the past and the tutee did really well with her tests. I have education courses in my background from college. I make sample tests and work sheets that usually are easier to understand than the teachers assigned work. One of my teachers inspired me to go into the world of biology which has given me the opportunity to work in the pharmaceutical amd medical industries for over 10 years. Biology is our life and during my teaching tenure I was able to inspire non majors to seek out further biological sciences when they initially had no interest. After earning my bachelor's degree, I worked with trouble youth. A desire to extend my learning led me to seek a Master's degree while working as a public school teacher. I continued with my goal to earn a doctoral degree and extended my teaching experience to the college level.

A Little Bit About Me...

I attended Houghton College for 2 1/2 years. Then I went to NCCC and earned an AS, then transferred to Charter Oak State College. They took all the credits I had earned as a student at both schools, allowed me to define my degree, told me which additional credits I needed and granted my degree. I have homeschooled my children for 15 years. My oldest is 19 and going to RIT in the fall. He has an AS which he got the week he turned 18. I also have two teens whom I currently school. I have taught them math courses including Algebra and Geometry, American History, writing, reading, etc. I also taught a class in Spanish 1 for other homeschooled students.
