My comments on tutoring Elementary : I have been an intern teacher in a third grade class room as well as worked with other young children. I am currently going to school to become an Elementary School teacher.

I have always wanted to teach! So any opportunity I got in high school I took it! I was enrolled in the teaching academy all through high school. Through this academy I got to intern/teach many different grade levels. I started with a kindergarten class and then moved up to 6th grade P.E. and Science, then I moved to 3rd grade. I was also hired by the school district to be an AVID tutor for 7th and 8th graders. I have danced most of my life so when I was offered to co-choreograph the plays at my old Middle School I took it and did that for four years. I am also currently volunteering at my church to teach a class for 3rd graders on Sundays.

A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering. There I had the opportunity to work as a Teacher's Assistant for undergraduates, which included private instruction during office hours, help with homework, grading, and occasionally leading courses. In addition to this, I tutored privately in Systems Physiology. Prior to my graduate studies, I pursued my bachelor's degrees in biology (with a minor in chemistry) and German. For these reasons, I feel that I am not only well-versed in the sciences and mathematics, but also that I have a good understanding of the humanities.
