I am enthusiastic about what I teach, and I let students take the lead in solving problems to build independent skills and confidence. I am also a firm believer in understanding HOW things work, not just THAT they work--I combine problem-solving strategies with an understanding of why those strategies make sense. I'm a recent graduate from Brown University, with experience tutoring at the middle school, high school, and college levels.
