I am a college graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Elementary Education, a major in science and minor in English. My comments on tutoring Testing Strategies : Have been trained in University of Kansas, Test Taking Strategy-- it's very well researched on learning disabled and at-risk students, and is also taught in many general ed. settings.

I teach to the student's strengths and continually tailor my instruction to my observations and assessments of the student's learning preferences and progress. I have 12 years of K-12 experience as a special education teacher, and nine years experience as a tutor. I have tutored, math, reading, phonics, social studies, study skills, science, test preparation, composition, and spelling.
