Elementary Social Studies Tutors & Teachers for Lessons, Instruction or Help in Troy, WV

In high school I helped tutor younger children. My freshmen year of college I volunteered as a tutor at Ely Chapman. I am currently a teaching assistant for an Anatomy lab. All of my experience has been one-on-one tutoring and I typically take a hands on approach to learning. Since I am a college student I am constantly learning new information and the most effective study skills.

I have 2 Years of teaching First Aid/ CPR/ AED at the American Red Cross. I also have 1 quarter of tutoring physics at Washington State Community College. I also instruct Pet CPR/First Aid for the American Red Cross. This is especially fulfilling when watching children learn that there is something they can do to help save their injured or sick pet. Though, it has taken me many years to complete my degree, I believe this proves that persistance and perseverance pays off in the end, and that one is never too old to learn. I believe that with my excellent mathematical ability and demeanor I would prove to be an assest to helping students achieve their educational goals. I love working and teaching children of all ages. Every child has the potential to be A students, but each child may learn in different ways.
