i have never taught professionaly, but have assisted fellow students. the methods i useed to help them were ither to incorporate the subject matter into a sumject that they had a personal interest in, or manny time i found that they just didnot understand the language of the subject so i reexplained it in simpler terms and they got it just fine.
Even as a student i helped my fellow students to understand and grasp the subjects they were having difficulty with. i can generaly spinn the information into a subject matter that interests the individual or just explain it in an easier to understand manner, offted they just get lolst in the language of teaching. i minnored in math, and majorred in science and agriculture in high school, ansd took veternary technology in colledge this involved mostly biologies and lab technigues.

I Love to work with children to transfer knowledge and help them learn difficult to understand concepts. Currently, I volunteer 3 hours every Sunday to teach 6th through 9th graders. My years of teaching have been greatly varied—traditional/ non-traditional, in the States /overseas, regular/special needs students, children/adults, and with a great variety of nationalities (Swedish, British, Slovak, Serbian, Jordanian, Russian, Dutch, South African, etc.). I have homeschooled our five children. I have provided English conversation classes for children. In high school I tutored junior high students who were having trouble in with school. After high school I joined the U.S Navy, where I trained junior personal for three years. I used my G.I bill Benefits to attend the University of Connecticut, where I received my Bachelors in History with a minor in Political Science. I stayed at the UConn to complete my Masters in Education where I complete 15 weeks of student teaching. Most recently I have worked as a substitute teacher at both the middle and high school level.
