Children are amazing artists due to the fact that they don't censor themselves creatively like most adults tend to do. I teach, instilling confidence through positivity and constructive criticism. I encourage children to experiment and discover their own style. I teach the basic fundamentals as well as the techniques of painting and let the children find their own unique style. A Little Bit About Me...

I love one on one or small class sizes. Each child is so different in their own way and each have such a different learning style that I like to take it slow and be personal with each student. In my years of experience I have learned how to make learning fun. I love to include humor and everyday examples when I teach. Children are amazing and after all our future.
As an Americorp participant during my early college years I learned of the many joys that teaching can give. I have a BS in general studies and very close to a BS in psychology, criminal justice, and English. My teaching style is very goal-oriented, yet flexible enough to accomodate a variety of methods. Some students learn best from lectures, other learn from visuals while some are much better at hands-on instruction and correlations/representations. Each student has boundless potential; it is up to a knowledgeable educator to help that student unlock their potential and soar.
