I am a visual person so I like to teach by example. I will usually explain how to do a process, show an example, and then ask the student to repeat. This not only helps them learn the necessary tools and skill, but also gives them the feeling of accomplishment when they can see the actual process live right in front of them. I graduated from West Virginia University in 2008 with honors receiving my Bachelor's in Fine Arts degree specializing in Graphic Design. I moved to Columbus,Ohio two and a half years ago to work for a landscape architecture firm doing web design. In November of 2008 I started working for Safe Auto Insurance Company and now hold the title of Emerging Media and Design Coordinator. I handle all internal and external print and web design for the company. I have tutored interns as well as coworkers on how to use various design programs.

I have provided knowledge from the outside professional work froce in which I have givin direction obtained in real life situations in decission making and executing and reaching potential goals in the work arena. I have also shown the prblem solving skills in the classroom to be a proven track to the experience in the day to day assignments expected to achieve in a professional position. I would prepare the student to advance his or her knowledge to be able to tackle the professional potential in the reality work force, or next level of learning.
