A Little Bit About Me...

As a college graduate, I was ready ti conquer the world with my BA in Communications, but once I begin to think about what I truly wanted to do with my life, I begin to also look into childcare. I begin at USAA Child Development Center for almost two years. I felt so comfortable with the kids and I relished in the fact of being able to mold their minds to learn their abc's and 123'. I knew right then, this is going to be my career. I went on to Hillsborough County Headstart program, where I taught 3-5 year old for almost two yearss as well. With a degree in Special Education and a Masters in Education I have learned about how children learn best. At the teaching center, the focus was to help guide the student to get the correct answer and not just give the answer. Sometimes the thinking process to achieving the correct answer is more important than the answer itself. I also try using diagrams and figures when they are called for to explain some of the topics.
