My teaching style is: First I give assessment to find out what level of knowlege the student has. According to that I prepare a lesson plan. My first quarter of the session is to go over the homework problems and second quarter I give lecture and 3rd quarter I do practice exercises and the final quarter I take question from student. The student is required to read the material ahead of the class session. And I give home work problems from what was covered in the session.
