I prefer working one on one or in small groupes. I usually ask questions instead of giving answers. I work on a good structure and always emphasis cumulative studying. I like to go over proofs. I like using the board if availble. I've worked as a math and science tutor at a local college math lab for about 30 hours per week for the past year. I have good experience with ada and dyslexic students. my favorite subject to tutor is any level of calculus.

I love working with students. I enjoy relating to them, giving them lots of ways to think about things, and giving them the opportunity to think through problems and come to an understanding all their own. It is very rewarding for me and something I really miss doing since graduating college. I tutored math from college algebra through differential equations for two years (4 semesters) while attending Penn State. I have a BS in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in math and currently work as an engineer.

Most of my teaching experience is from one to one tutoring. I have tutored over 20 students and always received compliments regarding my reliability, punctuality, style and patience. I have tutored for students with ages raging from 14 to 25 years old and included algebra, geometry, calculus, physics, etc. I worked as an 8th grade math teacher for a Catholic School as well. I lectured algebra and geometry to 3 different groups of 50 to 55 students. My one to one teaching style is tailored to adapt to the students learning style.
