I have always wanted to teach. When I was a child I would round up the kids in my neighborhood and make them do lessons that I created. I do remember they did not like that. I went to college and earned a BS in Biology always knowing that I would eventually teach the sciences. I was an excellent student and have always found pride in myself on my ability to communicate with clearity. I have one year of tutoring experience at the k-12 level. Attaining a degree in the sciences has helped me to develop key writing as well as key listening skills. I am very capable of tutoring in most subjects.
I would say that my teaching style is very interactive. Anyone can give instructions but I love feedback from a one on one situation as well as a group environment. I base alot of my instruction on analogies; when a person can relate an experience or another word to a term being tought, t ... read more

I have trained, coached, and mentored many young graduates and adult professionals in chemistry, engineering, and computer operations. My most recent tutoring engagement was with a health care professional, who is studying college chemistry.
